The International Center of Condensed Matter Physics - ICCMP, of the University of Brasilia, is an institute for advanced research, properly organized to carry out scientific events in frontier topics of Condensed Matter Physics.
The academic activities of the ICCMP include the implementation of workshops, conferences, schools and seminars. The planning of the events is done in a regular basis by the International Scientific Committee, formed by internationally renowned researchers from Brazil and other countries. Our scientific events have the participation of guest speakers from our country and from abroad, who are previously selected by the organizing committees.
In regard to post-graduation, the ICCMP is specially relevant to students, young doctors, postgraduate students, researchers and professors from Brazil and Latin America who, in contact with renowned specialists and working in an suitable and stimulating academic environment, have the opportunity to accelerate the development of their capacities. Every year, the Center offers temporary posts for visiting scientists so that they can work in one of the research groups connected to the Center, for a period of one to two years.
